Ease Yoga and Café Coming to Del Ray

November 11, 2014 – Tartan Properties Commercial is excited to announce the lease signing for Ease Yoga and Cafe. This is Alexandria’s first yoga studio and eat-in-cafe. With the help of Tartan, Ease Yoga and Cafe will open its studio in the new Del Ray Commons. It will be in the mixed-use development at the intersection of Mount Vernon and Commonwealth Avenue.

The studio features high ceilings and large windows to draw in natural light. Therefore, the studio will provide the guest with an exceptional yoga experience. New owner, Tara Casagrande, will incorporate her 15 years of yoga experience to provide families in the Del Ray neighborhood with an excellent experience. Crystal Essiaw Joins Tartan Properties Team

December 4, 2014 – Tartan Properties Commercial is pleased to welcome Crystal Essiaw as the new Marketing Coordinator. Crystal is a recent graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. While at VCU, she conducted research to help local non-profits organizations with creating effective strategic communication plans.  During her senior year, Crystal served as the Public Affairs intern with the Richmond Police Department. Sugar Shack Expands into Arlington

August 2015 – Arlington now has access to area’s hottest new breakfast from Sugar Shack Donuts. Recently awarded the Reader’s Choice Award by USA Today the Richmond-based company is set to open multiple locations in the DMV region. We are very excited about this news, as are many others. Sugar Shack Donuts are a great addition to our area.

The newest location of Sugar Shack is on the ground floor of the mixed-use development Pike 3400, however, it is not open yet. Meanwhile, owner Rob Krupika has been taking customer requests on where they would like to see the next location. Many people are hoping they will open a location near them. (more…)
